The Doctor of Psychology, Sports and Performance Psychology Specialization requires 62-68 credit hours to complete.  Terms are six weeks, and students take only one course per term.  Courses include basis of behavior, adult psychopathology, and advance performance enhancement.  Students must also attend three in-residence weekends at the Colorado Springs campus.  180 hours of practicum is required at a site chosen by the student.  The site must be approved by the dean of the college.  Students are also required to prepare a dissertation.  The dissertation completion and defense spans five terms.
