Imagine earning your law degree online.

Think it’s impossible? Guess again!

Concord Law School online allows you to earn your JD online (Juris Doctor), and your EJD (Executive Juris Doctor). The Juris Doctor degree is best suited for those actually seeking a profession in law and becoming part of the legal profession. The Executive Juris Doctor Degree is more suited for those who do not necessarily seek to become an attorney, but for those who want to learn more about the U.S. legal system and use that knowledge for further job advancement or new job opportunities.

The JD degree includes lectures, online study groups, and on the phone. The EJD program includes basic foundation courses for the first year, and several courses focused more on the students’ interests and job requirements. The school notes that some of these career needs could be associated with HealthLaw, Law & Technology, and Criminal Justice.

Concord Law School Online Accreditation

As previously mentioned, Kaplan University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission (HLC), and also a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Concord is registered as a distance-learning law school with the Committee of Bar Examiners of the State Bar of California, which allows students who have graduated with their JD online to apply for admission to the State Bar of California. Concord Law School Online, however, is not on a list of schools that the American Bar Association has approved.

This fact should not deter you from learning more about Concord Law School because not every state will require that you graduate from an ABA law school in order for you to sit for the bar in their state. In order to enroll into Concord Law School, prospective students will have to complete an online Admissions Test, have an interview with an Admissions Advisor, and then reviewed by a Committee.

The JD online degree can be completed in a little over 4 years, while the EJD online degree can be completed in a little over 3 years. Annual tuition is about $9,250.00 (as of June 1, 2008).
