Jones International University was founded by Glenn R. Jones who launched the cable television network, Mind Extension University, in 1987. Students could take courses via a television circuit in more than 30 colleges and universities. With the blossoming of the internet in 1993, Jones had the vision to create an online university.
By 1999, Jones International University was the very first to become a regionally accredited completely online university in the United States. It offers degrees in education and business. Jones International University enrollment is more than 30,000 students. Students can earn an affordable education with career-oriented degrees online including Associate’s, Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate diplomas.
