Online PhD Degree

Getting my PhD would be a dream come true… but it’s just not possible.

Says who?  You’ve come this far, right?  If you’re saying it’s impossible for you to get your PhD, I’m betting you haven’t considered an online PhD degree yet.  If you had, you’d realize how many options there really are for you out there.

But is getting an online PhD degree any different?

Absolutely.  First of all, there are so many different types of online degree opportunities, and they cater to a vast range of student needs.  Consider what’s holding you back right now.  Many people decide not to go after their doctorate because they don’t think they’ll get into a program, they can’t afford it, they’re holding down a job and don’t think they can make time… the list goes on.  But for most of them, their reasons don’t have anything to do with whether or not they’re actually capable of earning their degree.  Basically, they’re facing logistical problems.

So how is an online PhD degree easier to get than a traditional PhD?

No classroom schedules or studies to deal with.  No rigid mentoring times.  And with the sheer number of programs out there, you can certainly find one with an opening that will let you in.  Many of these programs offer alternatives to fulfilling degree requirements that take much less time than those of a traditional PhD program.

Research what’s available!  Have a firm idea of what exactly you want to do with your online PhD requirement.  Consider what sort of time you can put into it.  Put together a good estimate of the type of budget you have.  And then, start searching for the online program that fits your goals perfectly.
